Capriotti's plans aggressive expansion in Houston

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop has announced plans to open as many as 45 new restaurants in the Houston area throughout the next seven years. Capriotti's currently operates four restaurants in the Dallas area and one in the Houston area, according to a news release. The expansion will be driven by franchising and is part of an overall expansion effort in Texas that also includes the Austin and San Antonio areas. 

To launch the Houston area expansion, a presentation has been scheduled for June 23, at the Westin Houston Memorial City at 945 Gessner Road, where prospective franchisees can meet with senior executives to learn more about the chain's development plans.
