Capriotti’s opens in Washington

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop opened its first Washington location Tuesday in Tukwila.

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop opened its first Washington location Tuesday in Tukwila, which marks the chain’s expansion to 18 states and federal districts, putting the sandwich franchise in over a third of the U.S, according to a company press release.

"Capriotti’s expansion to a new state exemplifies a great milestone in the growing success of our brand and we are one step closer to providing truly unique sandwiches to guests in all corners of the country," said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s.

All proceeds of opening day will go to the Tukwila Pantry Food Bank to provide produce and dry goods to local families in need, Morris said.
