Capriotti’s hires Brent Erwin as finance senior VP

Brent Erwin has been named senior vice president of finance for Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, a news release said.

Erwin has more than a decade of experience in finance and most recently served as director of finance operations for the East Coasts sports and entertaiment division at Compass Group, Levy Restaurants division.

"Capriotti's stood out to me for the overwhelming sense of goal alignment and passion that emanates from the team all the way up to the CEO,' said Erwin in the release. "The brand started as a family-run business more than 40 years ago and it still has that familiar feeling. I am excited to add value to the team not only in a business capacity but also in its passionate and genuine culture."

Erwin will oversee finance, accounting and human resources departments, and aims to make franchise partners feel supported financially by implementing a strategy that will continue to further enhance the brand's unit economics.
