Capriotti's goes pink to 'Save the Bobbies'

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop has re-introduced its "Save the Bobbies" initiative that will run at all eight Los Angeles locations through the month of October. In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Capriotti's will donate 25 cents from every purchase of its sandwich, The Bobbie, to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, according to a company press release.

Capriotti's signature sandwich, The Bobbie, is made with in-house roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, homemade stuffing and mayo. To further support the cause, all Bobbie sandwiches will be wrapped in pink paper to incorporate Breast Cancer Awareness Month's iconic color.

"With breast cancer affecting so many people each year including members of the Capriotti's family, it was only fitting to reincorporate it into our charitable efforts this year," said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti's. "The National Breast Cancer Foundation has made such a huge impact and we are excited to be partnering with them to raise awareness."

Capriotti's "Save the Bobbies" initiative ends Oct. 31
