Capriotti's, Dickey's, Menchies among brands with new locations this week

Capriotti's, Dickey's, Zoup!, Farmer Boys, Fuzzy's Taco Shop, Menchies, Taylor Gourmet Handcrafted Hoagies and the Original Brookleyn Water Bagel Co. all opened new locations recently.

Who grew where this week? Here's a round up of the latest new fast casual restaurant openings:

• Capriotti's launched its first Georgia location on Jan. 12. The new restaurant is located at 1611 Satellite Blvd. in Duluth, Georgia. Capriotti's now has 100 company-owned and franchise locations in 16 states across the U.S. including: Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin and Washington.
• Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened a new location on Jan. 22 at 1332 West 75th Street in Downer's Grove, Illinois. Franchisees are Kote Nallapati, Chandrasekhar Valeti and Anesh Pillai. Dickey's also opened a new location at 18056 Mateny Road in Germantown, Maryland on Jan. 24 under the ownership of Jim Hickin. Dickey's now has more than 480 locations in 42 states.
• Zoup! announced the opening of a new location in Sherwood Plaza at 1300D Worcester St. in Natick, Massachusetts. The franchisees are Mark and Lori Fox.
• Farmer Boys cut the ribbon on its 80th restaurant on Jan. 23. The new restaurant is located at 6315 Telegraph Road in Commerce, California.
• Fuzzy's Taco Shop opened its 77th restaurant recently. The newest Fuzzy's is located at in the Midtown Commons area of Austin, Texas, at Crestview Station. It's the third Fuzzy's to open in Travis county in the last four years.
• Menchie's opened a new location at 1620 Camino De Le Reina, Suite D in San Diego on Jan. 17.
• Concessions International opened Taylor Gourmet Handcrafted Hoagies in Terminal B/C near gate 25 in Reagan National Airport this week. Taylor Gourmet Handcrafted Hoagies has a total of nine units in the Washington, D.C. area.
• The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. will open two new restaurants in Florida this spring. The restaurant in Coral Springs will be located at 2554 N. University Dr., while the restaurant in Downtown Fort Lauderdale will be situated at 601 SE 3rd Ave.
