Capriotti's breaks ground on first Texas location

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop has opened the doors to its first Texas store in Plano.

Gaining popularity over the past 35 years, Capriotti’s is known for signature sandwiches like the Bobbie,also known as Thanksgiving on a roll, made with in-house roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo. Other offerings include the Capastrami, with hot homemade pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and cole slaw, and the classic Homemade Meatball Sub which has Provolone, grated Romano and sauce.

“Expanding into Texas is exciting for us and an important step in our growth as a company,” said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s. “We have a proven loyal fan base and with our great success we cannot wait to see what the future holds for Plano, and the rest of Texas. If it’s true that everything is bigger in Texas, people are going to love the huge flavors and portions in a Capriotti’s sandwich.”
