Capriotti's boasts new investors

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop has three new investors, David Barr, Shelly Sun and JD Sun.

Restaurant industry veteran Barr is the chairman and founder of PMTD Restaurants, and serves on public and private, international and domestic, boards. Shelly and JD Sun are co-founders of BrightStar Care, a healthcare staffing company.

"After celebrating our 40th anniversary earlier this year, we are ready to embark on a new chapter and this investment is a key component to Capriotti's success," said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti's, in a release.
