Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is marking its 50th anniversary with a major expansion push and a new incentive program for franchise partners following a year of record growth.
The sandwich franchise, founded in 1976, is opening 20 locations and has launched a "50-50-50" incentive program, offering qualified new partners up to $50,000 in savings through discounted royalties and franchise fees.
"This anniversary is about more than celebrating our past," Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti's, said in a company press release. "It's about investing in our future and making sure the next 50 years are just as fruitful."
The brand enters its milestone year after a breakout 2025. Over the last 12 months, Capriotti's signed agreements for 30 locations and opened 16 restaurants in key U.S. markets. The company also earned spots on Fast Casual's Top 100 Movers & Shakers list and received a Franchise Innovation Award from Franchise Update.
Originally a single shop in Delaware, Capriotti's has grown to more than 150 locations across 25 states. The brand has gained a national following for its slow-roasted Butterball turkeys and signature subs like "The Bobbie," which features turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing.
The company's long-term goal is to reach 500 locations by 2032. Throughout 2026, the brand plans to roll out further initiatives, including brand storytelling and recognition for long-standing franchise partners.
