With three locations in British Columbia and Ontario, Assembli, a fast casual pizza and salad chain, is adding five units to the greater Toronto area. Franchisee Zain Qureshia, a 30-something family man, believes the brand resonates with other millennials.
"We investigated several foodservice franchises and Assembli represented the perfect blend of fresh, healthy food with a simple operating system and exciting new concept," Qureshi said in a company press release.
CEO Stephen Plunkett said the expansion is proof that Assembli has staying power.
"We're thrilled to have Zain and Maham as Ontario franchisees and look forward to helping them establish Assembli in the GTA as we expand across Canada," he said in the release.
Assembli first opened in 2017, in Vancouver.
