Can Bubbakoo's make it in Hollywood?

Bubbakoo's Burritos, a Jersey Shore-based eatery, is hitting Hollywood with a five-restaurant deal in Los Angeles. 
 
Following a slew of development agreements beyond New Jersey, including Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky and Georgia, the LA deal will bring Bubbakoo's to more than 50 locations open or in development with plans calling for 500 locations to open within the next five years, according to a company press release.
 
"L.A. is known for its taco lifestyle and embrace of cultural foods. Yet, customers' taste are changing and many more are craving the creative, quality Mexican-American food we have to offer," CEO Paul Altero, said in the release. "We are thrilled to be expanding to Los Angeles and look forward to merging the Cali beach vibes with our Jersey Shore culture."
 
The Brannon family, which owns several other local businesses in the area, will operate the units.
