California Tortilla hosting Elito 8 tourney

To celebrate the NCAA playoff season, California Tortilla is launching its own tourney: The Elito 8 Tournament will let Cal Tort fans determine the chain's next limited time offer, as eight possible menu items go head-to-head for the popular vote.

How it works
In Round 1, beginning March 30 and running through April 2, fans have a chance to vote for their favorites in four brackets. First, they're pitting vegetarians against seafood lovers. The second round is All-American favorites in one corner and the flavors of Thailand in the other. Third, is street versus meat, and the final round is a carnivore showdown.

The winners of each round will move on to the Semifinals, held April 3 and 4, culminating in the Championship on Friday, April 5. The winning food gets the honor of becoming California Tortilla's next limited-time featured menu item, and one randomly selected voter will win a catered NCAA Championship viewing party for 20 guests and a big screen TV.

Fans can visit the Cal Tort blog to meet the teams, read their stories, and cast their votes daily at CaliforniaTortilla.com. Each vote counts as one entry into the prize drawing. Winners will be announced Saturday, April 6, just in time for the NCAA championship basketball game.
