California Tortilla is offering a healthy new option to help customers with health related New Year's resolutions, according to a company press release.

The Super Food Burrito, available for a limited time only, is made with a customer's choice of all-natural, GMO-free mesquite chicken breast or farm-fresh vegetables and wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla and filled with Mexican quinoa (with black beans, corn, jalapenos and salsa), feta cheese, Roma tomatoes and hass avocado slices, drizzled with house-made avocado-honey vinaigrette and topped with slaw made from kale.

"Using the freshest, highest-quality ingredients is something we've always done at California Tortilla, so the super food burrito seemed like a natural extension to our menu," said Keith Goldman, executive chef and COO, California Tortilla. "It's packed with protein and superfoods like kale and avocado, and every bit as delicious as our fans have come to expect from our chef-inspired creations."

The Super Food Burrito is $7.39 at most locations, and, for customers watching their carbs, it's also available as a bowl.
