Burgerville intros July menu items

VANCOUVER, Wash. — July gourmet offerings at Burgerville will focus on a popular seasonal menu offering: Walla Walla Sweet Onions. Burgerville will begin selling its latest monthly, gourmet menu items July 3 and July 7, respectively, with the introduction of the Walla Walla Sweet Onion Horseradish Burger and Walla Walla Sweet Onion Summer Side Salad.

Burgerville has partnered with the Walla Walla Sweet Onion Growers since 1997. Locati Farms, one of their primary growers, is currently the only Food Alliance certified-sustainable source of Walla Walla Sweet Onions.

The Sweet Onion Horseradish Burger features a Country Natural Beef patty with pickled Walla Walla Sweet Onions, tomato, lettuce and horseradish sour cream sauce on a toasted potato bun. The burger will sell for $3.89 or as a basket for $6.89.

The Sweet Onion Summer Side Salad includes pickled Walla Walla Sweet Onions lightly tossed with fresh zucchini and grape tomatoes. The salad will sell for $2.79 ala carte or added to a basket for $1.29.
