Burgerville dispatches mobile food truck

Burgerville is getting set to launch a mobile food truck in the Portland, Ore., area, according toan article in The Oregonian.
 
The truck will be introduced near Tom McCall Waterfront Park and will sell a limited menu of burgers, fries, soft drinks and shakes.
 
The truck will allow the Vancouver, Wash.-based company to test a community's interest in the restaurateur's products before committing the money to building a permanent location, said Jeff Harvey, president and chief executive officer of The Holland Inc., Burgerville's parent company.
 
Burgerville is exploring possible sites for a permanent downtown Portland location as well as in the Seattle area, said Jeff Harvey, president and CEO of Burgerville's parent company The Holland Inc.
 
The truck also will give Burgerville a presence at community events and could serve as a stand-in when one of the existing 39 restaurants is renovated, Harvey said.
