May 4, 2009

VANCOUVER, Wash. — Burgerville has launched the pairing of local beers and wines to its new, gourmet seasonal menu offerings at its Salmon Creek restaurant in Vancouver, Wash. The beer and wine pairings appeared on the menu May 1.

Burgerville also is adding two gourmet, seasonal food combinations to its menu each month that will feature a locally produced ingredient at the peak of its freshness. Beers and wines from a select group of local wineries and breweries have been chosen by sommelier Christine Tran to complement the new menu items. The items include a Grilled Asparagus and Tomato Melt, Grilled Asparagus Spears and the Spring Spinach and Chicken Salad.

Local wine offerings include the Ponzi Tavola Pinot Noir, O'Reilly Pinot Gris and the Eyrie Vineyards Chardonnay while beers from Widmer Brothers Brewery and Full Sail Brewing Co. will complement menu items such as the Wild Smoked Salmon Salad and the Spicy Anasazi Bean Burger. The selected beers include Widmer Hefeweizen, Full Sail Amber and Terminal Gravity ESG.

Alcohol is served from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and there is a two-drink limit for all Burgerville guests over the age of 21.
