"Consumers today are looking for brands they can trust, and our commitment to sustainability and complete transparency when it comes to our ingredients has placed BurgerFi at the forefront of the 'better burger' segment, as well as enabled us to surpass our established competitors in terms of growth in just five years," Corey Winograd, CEO of BurgerFi, said in the release. "Due to our success in the region, we've identified the greater D.C. metro area as a key market with tremendous potential to catapult our presence through franchise development.
