BurgerFi puts down Portland roots

BurgerFi has opened its first restaurant in Portland in conjunction with Aramark at the Roots Food District, a food hall inside Pioneer Place shopping mall. It offers 42 indoor seats plus access to additional seating in Pioneer Place.

"We're very excited to be opening our first BurgerFi in the Pacific Northwest inside the Roots Food District. We believe our chef-inspired menu serving the highest quality meats from ranches across the country, hand-cut fries and local craft beers will fit in well with the Portland food scene," Charlie Guzzetta, chief brand officer at BurgerFi, said in a company press release.

Established in 2011, BurgerFi has more than 100 restaurants.
