BurgerFi opens in Michigan

BurgerFi has opened its latest location in Ann Arbor, Mich., near the University of Michigan. The more than 4,000-square-foot location is the state's first and seats about 100. It also features a full liquor bar with alcohol varieties of its desserts.

"We are excited that our first location in Michigan is in this wonderful college town and look forward to introducing our unique all-natural burger concept to the campus community," said the Company's Director of Operations and Development Josh Lorence. "We want this location to become a popular game day destination for locals and visitors to experience."

Each restaurant typically adds 40 to 50 jobs into the local community, said Lorence, who has plans to have open 100 locations by the end of 2014.
