BurgerFi opens ghost kitchen in Chicago

In a partnership with virtual kitchen provider, Epic Kitchens, BurgerFi opened its first ghost kitchen Monday in Downtown Chicago and is serving customers via DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub and Postmates.

"Delivery is such an important way for our fans to order BurgerFi, especially given our current environment," Charlie Guzzetta, president of BurgerFi, said in the release. "Epic Kitchens is a great partner for us to grow in the Chicago market. As a delivery and pick up-only kitchen, they've really perfected the off-premise dining format, so that our guests can enjoy our hot juicy burgers and crispy, crunchy fries from wherever they choose to eat their meal."

Established in 2011 in Florida, BurgerFi has nearly 125 restaurants domestically and internationally.
