BurgerFi appoints CFO

BurgerFi International Inc., owner of fast casual brands BurgerFi and Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings, has appointed Christopher Jones as CFO. He will take over for Mike Rabinovitch, who will join Lionheart Capital as a senior advisor, according to a press release.
Prior to joining BurgerFi, Jones served as CFO of Odyssey Marine Exploration.
"I am excited to join BurgerFi as we look to explore all potential solutions to drive stakeholder returns including a sharp focus on improved productivity and returns from existing company and franchise locations, while also considering potential accretive acquisitions," Jones said in the release. "Working side by side with the new CEO and board of directors, I look forward to reinvigorating our stakeholder communications with investors as well as franchisees."
Founded in 2011, BurgerFi has 120 locations, while Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings has more than 60 locations.
