BURGERFI announced the opening of its Hickory, North Carolina location, marking the 69th BURGERFI store across the nation. The company expects an additional 30 locations to open by the end of 2015. Hickory franchise owner, Shriya Corporation, plans to launch up to 10 additional BURGERFI locations in the Charlotte-area, the company said.
BURGERFI follows its ''Never Never Program,'' policy, selling only burgers that contain no steroids, antibiotics, growth hormones, chemicals or additives. Locations feature chairs made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles, tables made from compressed recycled wood and ceiling fans that conserve electricity.
BURGERFI also announced the recipients of its "BURGERFI Awards," that recognizes seven franchise groups at the company's annual Franchise Summit.
