Burger 21 is opening its first Texas restaurant Monday in North Frisco, Texas. The new restaurant is located in Towers at Frisco Square at 5757 Main St., Suite 100 and will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Friday, according to a company press release.
The new Burger 21 is owned and operated by Wade and Parisa Googe, who plan to open two additional locations in the north Dallas suburb area in 2016. They are considering developing two new Burger 21 restaurants in The Colony and McKinney, Texas.
"Parisa and I are thrilled to open the first Burger 21 restaurant in The Lone Star State," said Wade Googe. "As local residents of North Frisco, we knew this area represented a great opportunity for Burger 21 based on the explosion of growth in the area. We believe the community will love Burger 21's high quality, chef-inspired recipes, diverse menu selection and a 'beyond the better burger' experience like no other."
To celebrate, the restaurant will award two guests per day with free cheesy burgers for a year starting Jan. 11 and running through the 17th. Guests are encouraged to come in opening week to learn how to enter the contest. In addition the North Frisco Burger 21 will donate 10 percent of sales on Jan. 11 and 12 to the City of Frisco Police Officer’s Association. On Jan. 21 and 22, the restaurant will donate 10 percent of sales to the local Frisco Firefighters Association. Free valet parking will be available to all customers during opening week.
Burger 21 has 19 restaurants open nationwide with plans to open additional locations throughout Texas over the next several years.
