Buffalo Wild Wings improves service times with new technology

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — QSR Automations announced Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar has selected its ePic Kitchen Management Solution.

 

According to a news release, Buffalo Wild Wings' solution includes the ePic Kitchen Display Software (KDS), ePic video controller and KP-3000 keypad. These technologies will be used in corporate stores and will be available to its franchisees.

 

With the feature-rich and fully configurable ePic KDS, Buffalo Wild Wings was able to customize every station, including an expeditor station dedicated to carryout orders, using specific color coding, routing rules and timing thresholds for items and orders. Company officials said the solution has improved speed of service.

 

"Since implementing the QSR kitchen solution, we have reduced confusion in our kitchens and seen a noticeable improvement in our ticket times," said Craig Donohue, senior vice president for Buffalo Wild Wings.
