Bruster's Real Ice Cream adds three seasonal flavors

Bruster's Real Ice Cream has added three seasonal flavors to its line-up of frozen treats. Through July, Bruster's will offer black raspberry and black raspberry chocolate chunk ice cream made with real fruit. Peach will complete the limited-time trio.

Black raspberry has real black raspberries mixed into its flavored base. Black raspberry chocolate chunk adds milk chocolate. They are available in a waffle cone, in a cup, as a sundae or in a shake.

Contemporary ice cream flavors support Bruster's recently announced revitalization strategy to make the brand a destination throughout the year.

The strategy also includes a new unit design with indoor seating and a franchise recruitment program to help the brand expand domestically and internationally.

"Bruster's customers eagerly await the return of warm weather," said Mike Branigan, vice president of Marketing and Product Innovation. "Introducing consumer-tested flavors more frequently throughout the year will give them a great reason to visit more often during the shift to a 'Four Seasons' strategy."
