Bruegger's reports strongest growth in six years

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Bruegger's Enterprises announced that fourth quarter revenue for comparable sales grew 6.8 percent at company locations and 4.9 percent system wide. For the 2005 fiscal year, same-store sales increased 2.8 percent for the company and 2.3 percent for the system. Bruegger's gross sales reached $155 million in 2005.
"Consistently introducing new menu items, a reduction in operating costs, a focus on guest service and significant franchise growth have all contributed to deliver positive sales and profitability for Bruegger's," said Bruegger's CEO James Greco.
