Bruegger's introduces whole wheat Softwich

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Bruegger's Enterprises Inc. is introducing a whole-wheat Softwich recognized by the U.S. Whole Grains Council.
 
According to a news release, Bruegger's whole wheat Softwiches contain 7 grams of fiber, zero saturated or trans-fat , and 13 grams of protein. The company introduced the Softwich in 2002 and has seen its popularity soar, especially during lunch, the company said.
 
Two new whole wheat Softwich sandwiches will also debut on the Bruegger's menu:
-- Western Wheat
-- Turkey Apple
 
The whole-wheat Softwich is available as a single purchase.
