Bruegger's debuts Primo Pesto Chicken sandwich

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Bruegger's has announced the limited-time launch of its Primo Pesto Chicken sandwich, an Italian-inspired recipe prepared on a freshly baked ciabatta roll and layered with warm slices of premium white chicken breast, green leaf lettuce, zesty roasted red peppers and crisp red onions, topped with a basil parmesan pesto sauce.

Originating from the Mediterranean regions of northern Italy, Bruegger's pesto is made from fresh basil leaves, parmesan cheese, olive oil and garlic. The Primo Pesto sandwich joins the Bruegger's menu with two other chicken sandwiches: the Cuban Chicken Sandwich and the Roadhouse Chicken Sandwich.

Bruegger's also has brought back its Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Fair Trade Certified Island Coconut Coffee, which features the tropical, fruity flavors of sweet and creamy coconut.
