Bruegger’s Bagels newest multi-unit development deal with West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Great Service Restaurants, calls for the opening of five co-branded Bruegger’s/Jamba Juice locations throughout South Florida, according to a company press release.
“Pairing Bruegger’s Bagels with Great Service Restaurants is a fantastic match,” said Paul Carolan, chief development officer for Le Duff America Inc., the Dallas-based parent company of Bruegger’s Bagels. “The brand has a unique ability to become deeply rooted in the communities it serves. Great Service Restaurants shares our passion for community, quality and providing exceptional guest experiences.”
Great Service Restaurants currently owns and operates more than 10 Jamba Juice stores in the area. The company’s co-branded locations with Bruegger’s Bagels will bridge the premier bagel bakery concept with the unquestioned beverage product innovator, said Arturo Zindel, partner with Great Service Restaurants and franchise development executive who previously partnered in one of the largest chains of Pizza Hut and KFC co-branded locations in Latin America.

The first of Great Service Restaurants’ co-branded stores is expected to open in 2014. The company is currently in the initial development phase of this first unit.
