Bruegger’s Bagels has added new items to its menu for a limited time this summer.
"We created interesting new combinations for our summer menu that wake up the palate and offer our guests the season's favorite flavors with our own unique spin," Bruegger's Bagels Executive Chef Philip Smith said in press release from the company. "We also introduced some new ingredients, like beets, edamame and sofrito sauce, to really bring something different to the table this summer."
The bagel baker also added a new Latin-inspired jalapeno, bacon and egg sandwich, an edamame and beet salad, and a whipped blueberry Greek cream cheese and Greek yogurt to its offerings. It also brought back its Island Coconut Coffee drink, which is available hot or iced.
The summer menu will be available through Sept. 15 at all of Bruegger's Bagels' more than 300 locations.
