Bruegger's Bagels adding Bagel Burgers nationwide

The bagel chain is strengthening is lunchtime daypart offerings with the addition of two burger bagels.

Bruegger's Bagels is rolling out Bagel Burgers nationwide as part of its fall menu.

The burgers were tested earlier this year in Boston and Minneapolis markets. Iterations will include:

• Barnyard Burger, which features egg, cheddar cheese and sauce on an Asiago Parmesan bagel;
• Bistro Burger, which features cheddar cheese, sause, lettuce, tomato and pickled onion on choice of bagel.

Other fall menu additions include:

• Pumpkin Bagels
• Pumpkin Cream Cheese
• Pumpkin Spice Coffee
• Pastrami, Egg & Swiss sandwich
• Pastrami & Everything

"Our new menu is a great representation of what our guests have come to love at Bruegger's Bagels – our unique spin on tradition mixed with longtime seasonal favorites," said Bruegger's Bagels Vice President of Marketing Judy Kadylak, in a news release. "Our Bagel Burgers are a fresh take on the American classic, while our popular pumpkin items are a yearly tradition."
