Brioche Dorée, a Parisian-style urban bakery café, has signed an agreement to open at Syracuse Hancock International Airport’s Delta terminal in December. Brioche Dorée, which has more than 30 North American bakeries, offers espresso-based coffees and croissant breakfast sandwiches, quiches, pizzas and French-inspired desserts, according to a news release.
Local Food Group, owned by Saniya Isani, will own/operate the Syracuse Airport location.
“Brioche Dorée is not your ordinary fast food airport fare,” Isani said in the release. “It’s a fresher, healthier option than many of the meals people on the go are accustomed to choosing from when at the airport. Everything is made fresh daily in the café.”
Syracuse’s new Brioche Dorée will feature an updated design first introduced in Toronto last year. The brand’s current plans call for a 15-percent annual expansion, including a focus on North American airports.
