Brendan Mauri tapped as Rusty Taco president

Inspire Brands has named Brendan Mauri president of Rusty Taco.

Mauri, who previously served as senior director of marketing for Rusty Taco, will set strategic direction and be responsible for the brand's company-owned restaurants as well as relationships with franchisees, according to a press release.

He will report to Inspire Chief Growth Officer Christian Charnaux.

"We are thrilled to welcome Brendan as president of Rusty Taco," said Charnaux in the release. "His strong industry background and marketing expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation and long-term success as the brand embarks on its next chapter of growth."

Rusty Taco opened its first location in 2010.
