Boston Market under new management

Boston Market has a new owner. 

Engage Brands LLC, one of the Rohan Group of Companies, owned by real estate investor and restaurant operator, Jignesh (Jay) Pandya of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, acquired the brand from affiliates of Sun Capital Partners Inc. Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed, according to a company press release. 

The Rohan Group of Companies is a real estate venture with over 100 combined restaurants and commercial properties.

With the strategic and financial backing Jay and his team bring, we will continue to focus on key operational initiatives to improve guest experience, menu development, and focus on the growth of our brand. We are now well-positioned to achieve future success during a period of unprecedented disruption for our industry."

Boston Market was assisted in establishing the partnership with Engage Brands by Piper Sandler Companies, which provided investment banking services and Mackinac Partners, Inc. which provided business advisory and restructuring services.
