Boston Market touting new BBQ ribs as tax relief

April 10, 2013

From organizing W-2s and 1099s, to discussing deductions and year-end writeoffs, even the savviest of taxpayers can find tax season to be a bit stressful. But this year, Boston Market is offering everyone a "Big Rib-bate" on April 15, when all guests can receive two ribs meals for $10.40.

The "Big Rib-bate" deal is in celebration of the launch of St. Louis Style BBQ ribs at Boston Market. Each meal includes 1/4 rack of ribs with mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and homemade cornbread. No coupon is needed to enjoy the offer, according to a company press release.

"The addition of ribs to our menu reflects another opportunity for us to provide customers with quality food at a great price, and tax day is a perfect time to celebrate that service," said George Michel (a.k.a. "The Big Chicken"), CEO of Boston Market. "1040 forms may not be enjoyable, but great food at an affordable price always is, and that's something we can offer everyone."

The Big Rib-bate is a part of Boston Market's larger promotion, "We Love the I.R.S.," which celebrates the launch of ribs through the month of April. "I.R.S." stands for Incredible Rib Specials. Consumers can visit www.bostonmarketribs.com to enter to win one of 1,040 ribs meals, and receive a $1 coupon for a ribs meal for entering. Additionally, the promotions are featured at facebook.com/bostonmarket and twitter.com/bostonmarket.
