Pandya Restaurant Growth Brands LLC has acquired Corner Bakery from affiliates of Roark Capital Partners. Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed. Owned by Rohan Group of Companies, Pandya operates several brands including Boston Market, which it bought in April.

"Our acquisition of Corner Bakery aligns with what we believe families are seeking — high-quality kitchen crafted food and good, consistent customer service," Pandya owner Jignesh (Jay) Pandya said in a company press release.

Corner Bakery CEO Frank Paci said Pandya will help the company expand and brings resources needed to continue to operate in such a challenging environment.

"With the strategic and financial backing Jay and his team bring, we will continue to focus on key operational initiatives to improve guest experience, menu development, and the growth of our brand. We are now well-positioned to achieve future success during a period of unprecedented disruption for our industry," he said in the release.

Corner Bakery Cafe has 200 units in 23 states and Washington, D.C.
