Boston Market offering holiday catering

Boston Market expects to serve more than 1 million customers on Thanksgiving Day and is offering a variety of catering and holiday meal options in each of its 460 locations.

"The Thanksgiving meal is so much more than just food – it's about creating memories, and it's not something to take a risk on," said George Michel, CEO of Boston Market. "At Boston Market, these holiday foods are our everyday staples, so you can trust us to make the food that everyone loves."

Holiday meal options include:

• Oven to Table Holiday Meals: Diners can purchase a whole roasted turkey meal for 12, including one whole turkey, spinach artichoke dip, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry walnut relish, vegetable stuffing, dinner rolls and two whole pies. Cost: $94.99.
• Hot & Ready Catered Buffets: The chain will cook and delver any type of order.
• A la Carte: Any side or dessert can be ordered to go.
• Thanksgiving Day Meal: For those planning to dine out or need last-minute side items, all Boston Market restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day. Diners may order holiday favorites like the Thanksgiving Day Meal, which features roasted turkey breast with two home-style sides, freshly baked cornbread and a slice of apple or pumpkin pie for $10.99.

The holiday season is the busiest time of the year at Boston Market, Michel said. Last year alone, the home-style chain served more than 3 million pounds of mashed potatoes and more than 122 million mini cornbread loaves in November and December.

To assist guests during Thanksgiving week, each Boston Market location will also designate two crew members as Holiday Ambassadors, who will welcome guests and help ensure they have a pleasant in-restaurant experience, according to a company press release.

Boston Market has also partnered with Julie Benz, actress (Defiance, Dexter, Desperate Housewives), and avid cook and entertainer, to develop holiday tips and easy-to-prepare recipes incorporating home-style sides from Boston Market.

To help with last-minute planning, Oven to Table (while supplies last) and catering orders for Thanksgiving Day will be accepted until 2 p.m., Nov. 27. In addition to online ordering via bostonmarket.com, orders can be placed by calling 866-977-9090.
