Bonchon opens Ohio location on New Year's Eve

Bonchon, which serves hand-brushed Korean fried chicken, opened Dec. 31 in Mason, Ohio, at 8467 S. Mason Montgomery Road, under the direction of franchise owners Max Liu and Hong Zhong Zhong.

"The southwestern Ohio community now gets to be a part of the Crunch Out Loud movement that has been sweeping the nation," Liu said in a company press release. "Once people get just one taste of our food, it'll quickly become a go-to meal destination for family and friends to enjoy some of the best fried chicken they've ever had."

Since its inception in Busan, South Korea in 2002, Bonchon has opened 390 locations worldwide with 120 in the U.S.
