Las Vegas-based Bok Bok Chicken is hatching multiple locations throughout Southern California this year. The fast casual restaurant has five locations operating in southern Nevada, offering classic Mediterranean cuisine from family recipes with a modern farmhouse twist, according to a press release.
Silva Chamanian, investor of Armenian restaurant Carousel and owner of several fast casual brands including The Terrace Sidewalk Cafe in Pasadena, founded Bok Bok Chicken last year with the goal of bringing her Armenian culture to more people.
She and lifetime partner, Jacob Tchamanian, took family recipes passed down from generations and created a simple menu that highlights Mediterranean flavors in a setting where guests can feel like family, according to the release. In June, Chamanian opened in downtown Los Angeles and in August opened in Eagle Rock.
The restaurant group, which has plans for additional locations in Century City and Venice Beach, has partnered with Station Casinos, launching two locations inside their North Las Vegas properties — the recently opened location at Santa Fe Station near the Sports Book and at Texas Station, inside the food court, to open within the next year.
