Bobby's Burgers, a fast casual brand created by celebrity chef Bobby Flay, has hired Michael McGill as president of its franchising company, Capital BB LLC.

In addition to overseeing all departments, McGill's responsibilities include management of the strategic brand expansion, which is to franchise over 500 locations worldwide, according to a company press release.

"The Bobby's Burgers franchising initiative is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," said McGill, who has held c-suite positions for PT Asharia Karya Indonesia and PT Mitra Adiperkasa, the group licensing and operating global brands in Indonesia, including Starbucks, Pizza Express and Krispy Kreme. "I am thrilled to lead a team that is introducing an approachable Bobby Flay dining experience to burger lovers around the globe," McGill said in the release. "It is a unique opportunity to work with a world-renowned chef and entrepreneur like Bobby Flay. Our current goal is to strategically build the brand in a way that bottles up the extraordinary experience and shares it for the world to enjoy."

Bobby's Burger is opening its first franchises in Charlotte, Las Vegas, Denver, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston and Chicago.
