Blaze to open 2nd Tampa location

Blaze is opening a second Tampa, Florida-area location Monday on Word Way in Trinity, with the brand's traditional giveaway of free 11-inch pies scheduled for next Tuesday, Oct. 8, a news release said. 

The 2500-square-feet unit seats 70 inside, with 20 more seats on its covered patio. The store has brought 50 jobs to the area and builds on the brand's presence in Tampa, after its first location opened its doors this past January. Additionally, in Q2 2020, the chain will open a third Tampa-area store in Fowler. 

"Our pizza is aimed at consumers that don't just want convenience, but also seek customization and fresher, healthier, inventive options in their food choices," Blaze Trinity Operating Partner Dennis Sherer, said in the release. "By making dough in-house, carefully sourcing ingredients, and cooking by fire, we're giving guests a great way to enjoy artisanal pizza without the wait."

This location will also provide the brand's community fundraiser program that returns 20% of event proceeds to local organizations. The Trinity store, joins 340 others in 41 states and six nations.
