Blaze Pizza celebrates Fresno opening with social media pizza giveaway

Blaze Pizza will celebrate the opening of its first Fresno store by giving a free pizza to everyone who follows Blaze on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.

Blaze Pizza will give a free pizza between10:30 a.m. to midnight today at its first restaurant in Fresno at 1089 E. Shaw Ave., near First Street, to anyone who follows Blaze on the social sites of Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, The Fresno Bee reported.

This is the second Blaze location in the central San Joaquin Valley; the Tulare restaurant opened in July.

Manager Carlos Mejia said he hopes to give away more pizzas than any other opening, he told the Bee.

"We’re shooting for a record of 3,000," he said. "We broke the record in Tulare. We broke the record in Tracy."
