Blaze Pizza plans entry into Florida

Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza announced that it will soon be coming to Florida with plans to open eight locations in the state by the end of 2015. 

The concept is scheduled to open its first Florida location in Ft. Lauderdale's Uptown Centre in November, and a second location in Gainesville near the University of Florida in December.

In 2015, Blaze will add six more locations in the state, including: Boca Raton's Fifth Avenue Shops, Orlando at the University of Central Florida , Sarasota at The Mall at University Town Center, Davie near Nova Southeastern University and two locations in Tallahassee , on West Tennessee Street and Magnolia Drive.

"Our mission at Blaze is really simple -- we're all about bringing the community a place where guests can connect, create and enjoy great pizza at crazy fast speed," COO Jim Mizes said in a news release. "If you think about it, there hasn't been a good way to enjoy a made-from-scratch pizza without the wait. Now there is. We believe this will be a game-changer in Florida."
