Blaze opens third Tampa-area store

Blaze is opening a new Florida location on Monday at the University of South Florida at Fowler Avenue and North 51st St., a news release said.

The restaurant is also offering free 11-inch build-your-own pizzas to anyone who downloads the Blaze Pizza app from June 1-7, and then adds the new Fowler Avenue location as their preferred location. The free pizza reward will be accessible on the app and redeemable through the end of the month.

The location will offer dine-in, carryout via pick-up or curbside service, and contactless delivery through its website, mobile app and third-party delivery providers. The restaurant is also hiring a dining room ambassador to continually sanitize surfaces and give bags to customers in which to store their masks while dining in. 

The 2,600-square-feet seats 60 inside and almost 20 on a covered outdoor patio. The chain's first Tampa-area location opened in Lutz in January 2019, followed by a second in Trinity in September 2019.

Blaze operates 345 restaurants in 41 states and six countries. The company is based in Pasadena, California.
