Blaze lights up Coachella Valley

Palm Springs, California, is getting a Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza this Friday in Coachella Valley on North Palm Canyon Drive, according to a news release. 

To celebrate, the restaurant is offering free pizzas from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday. This is the chain's seventh franchised location under the operation of Rick Fortman and Joe Stein in the area. 

The restaurant is constructed with sustainable, recycled materials and uses eco-friendly packaging and energy-efficient LED lighting. As part of its initiation into the Palm Springs landscape, the restaurant will give 20 percent of events' proceeds back to local organizations.
