Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza will open its second Pennsylvania location in May in Monroeville, according to a company press release. The restaurant will be located on William Penn Highway, between Men's Wearhouse and Red Lobster.
"Blaze Pizza has a lot in common with Monroeville — we both take pride in our community and our food," said Phil Sero, vice president of Operations for Blaze Pizza in the Pittsburgh area. "Monroeville diners will love our modern, fast take on a traditional favorite."
The restaurant's 3,075-square-foot interior will include seating for more than 75 inside and an additional 20 seats on an outdoor patio. It will be constructed with recycled and sustainable materials, use energy efficient LED lighting and feature eco-friendly, compostable packaging, the release stated.
The new Blaze Pizza will also be hosting fundraisers for local community organizations once they open. The restaurant will be putting information out soon on how Monroeville groups can apply.
