Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza announced that it in February it will open its second Dallas-Fort Worth area location in Arlington in North Arlington's Parkway Central Shopping Center at 841 E. Lamar Blvd., next to Whole Foods The restaurant which will feature a 3,200-square-foot-interior with seating for 75 inside and an additional 25 seats on an outdoor patio, according to a company press release. Blaze Pizza's first Dallas-Fort Worth area location opened in May 2015 in Frisco's Center at Preston Ridge (3311 Preston Road).
"We're taking pizza back to its roots. By making dough in-house, carefully sourcing ingredients, and cooking by fire, we're giving guests a great way to enjoy artisanal pizza without the wait," said Jim Mizes, president and COO of Blaze Pizza. "We pride ourselves on the authenticity of our food and creating a sustainable, engaging and exciting atmosphere for our guests."
The new restaurant will be constructed with recycled and sustainable materials, use energy-efficient LED lighting and will feature eco-friendly, compostable packaging, the release stated.
"We're excited to join the Arlington community and 'fire up' our artisanal pizzas here," said Brian Kelley, managing partner of Saddles Blazin LLC, a Blaze Pizza franchisee that also owns Blaze Pizza locations in Frisco and Austin, Texas, and New Orleans. "We know Blaze will be a favorite among locals with our high-quality ingredients, eco-friendly culture, and commitment to Texas craft beer."
The restaurant will also promote a turnkey fundraiser program that returns 20 percent of an event's proceeds back to the organization, helping schools, sports clubs and other local groups.
