Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza will soon open two new California locations, including its first Coachella Valley location, in Palm Desert, according to a company press release. The restaurant, which features a 2,500-square-foot interior with inside seating for 52 and an additional 28 seats on an exterior patio, will open in May in Palm Desert at 73393 Hwy. 111 at the corner of San Pablo Ave.
Blaze also will open a new Los Angeles area location, in West Covina. The new restaurant, which features a 2,400-square-foot interior with seating for 70 inside, will open in April near the Plaza West Covina at 120 S. California Ave. The restaurant will be operated by the Driz/Koral Group, led by Peter Koral, founder of premium denim brand Seven for All Mankind, and Daniel Driz, who has more than 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry.
"Blaze Pizza is very unique. High quality ingredients, awesome value and blazing fast! I couldn't be more excited," Koral said.
Both restaurants will be constructed with recycled and sustainable materials, use energy efficient LED lighting and feature eco-friendly, compostable packaging, the release stated. Blaze will also promote a turnkey fundraiser program that returns 20 percent of an event's proceeds back to the organization, helping schools, sports clubs and other local groups.
"At Blaze, we're all about creating an engaging dining experience where guests can enjoy artisanal pizza that's both fast and affordable," said Jim Mizes, president and COO of Blaze Pizza. "The authenticity of our food, plus a service culture that genuinely focuses on the happiness of our guests and crew have been key to our popularity and expansion."
