Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza announced several upcoming openings for the fast casual pizza brand. Lexington, Kentucky, pizza fans will welcome Blaze this July, brought by Louisville-based The Millennial Restaurant Group, which is developing the concept in four states, The new location, at 341 S Limestone St., will encompass the 2800-square-foot space, with seating for 60 inside and an additional 20 seats on an outdoor patio.
The Lexington restaurant will be the eighth location for The Millennial Restaurant Group, which is opening the concept in Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida and Georgia. The partnership consists of James Patterson Sr., Jim Patterson II, Ulysses (Junior) Bridgeman, Wayne Albritton and Collins Cogan.
Blaze also announced the opening of two new locations in the Houston area this July. The first location will open in Houston's Woodlake Square (9600 Westheimer Road.), in a 2,600-square-foot space with seating for 60 inside and an additional 40 seats on an outdoor patio, according to the announcement. The second area restaurant will open in August in Sugar Land's Town Center (16100 Kensington Dr.), in a 2,300-square-foot location that seats 60 inside and contains an outdoor patio.
Additional Texas locations are forthcoming, including Austin (Lakeline Commons, 14015 Research Blvd.) in November and Ft. Worth (Waterside Shopping Center, 3388 Bryant Irvin Roa.) in Q1 2016.
The company opened its first Jacksonville, Florida, location at 840 Nautica Drive, in River City Marketplace near Panera Bread, Starbucks and Wal-Mart, the company said in a press release. Blaze is offering free customizable artisanal pizzas to celebrate to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, from 11 a.m. to 10: 30 p.m., Friday
"Jacksonville is ready for a shake-up when it comes to convenient and delicious pizza," Laurie Ruggles, Blaze operating partner in North Central Florida, said in a statement. "We're bringing back the classic 'pizza joint' with a modern, fresh, and fast twist. Blaze has all the options Jacksonville's pizza lovers want, but without the wait."
Additional restaurants in Orlando and Tallahassee are slated to open in 2015. The Jacksonville Blaze Pizza is also operated by The Millennial Restaurant Group.
