Blast 825 donates more than $3K to local SPCA

Blast offered guests $4 pizzas and salads at the celebration, donating 100 percent of the proceeds to the Placer SPCA via Blast 825's new charitable initiative, Blast Buddies.

Blast 825, a quick-fired fast casual pizza restaurant, announced it raised more than $1,600 from the Rocklin (California) grand opening celebration, matching funds for a total donation of $3,366 to the Placer Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Roseville, California

Blast offered guests $4 pizzas and salads at the celebration, donating 100 percent of the proceeds to the Placer SPCA via Blast 825's new charitable initiative, Blast Buddies.

''We are so grateful to have been chosen once again as the beneficiary of Blast 825's efforts through the Blast Buddies program. Not only were we thrilled to be a part of the Rocklin grand opening, but we were excited to have been able to create another signature pizza — the Pet Lover's Pizza,'' said Susan Willson, development director of the Placer SPCA. ''We truly value our partnership with Blast 825 — efforts like these are crucial in helping Placer SPCA continue our lifesaving programs and services for the people and pets of our community.''
