Black Rock Coffee takes on Texas expansion

Montgomery, Texas, residents will notice that Black Rock Coffee Bar, 8784 Hwy., 105 W. Suite 100 at the intersection of Highway 105 and Walden, opened its doors last weekend.

"We are thrilled to open our newest store in Montgomery, our 15th store in the vibrant Houston metro area and our first in this wonderful community," Mark Davis, CEO Black Rock Coffee Bar, said in a company press release. "Texas holds a special place in our hearts, and expanding our presence here underscores our commitment to serving the Lone Star state. We look forward to forging even deeper connections with our customers in Montgomery and beyond."

The 2000-square-foot store features the boutique coffee chains' signature industrial modern design.

Founded in 2008, in Portland, Oregon, Black Rock Coffee Bar has over 130 locations.
